Brave on Android has a real path for non-listed search engines in normal tabs.

1. Open Queye in Brave and run a search once.
2. Tap the menu, then Settings.
3. Open Search engines, then Standard Tab.
4. Look for Queye under the recently used or recently accessed search engines and select it.

Queye may be available for standard tabs only. Private tabs may continue to use Brave's built-in search engine list.
